Southern Oregon encompasses part of the Cascade and Siskiyou mountain ranges, with a multitude of trails, campgrounds, and ski areas. The local Rogue and Umpqua rivers offer epic whitewater rafting, in addition to salmon and steelhead fishing. Visit the lake country area for calm, beautiful days on the water, or a soak in a relaxing hot spring. Be sure to spend some time exploring the Oregon Caves National Monument as well!
For history buffs, visit the Favell Museum in Klamath Falls to view a unique collection of Native American artifacts, or Jacksonville to learn about how this area of Oregon was heavily influenced by the gold rush.
