Auburn University and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) collaborated to open a new Auburn branch campus..  The first class of 150 students will be admitted in the fall of 2015 to the VCOM-Auburn branch.  The vision for the VCOM-Auburn branch is to improve the health of Alabama's citizens, particularly in rural and underserved areas of Alabama, by increasing the primary care workforce.
