Butte Valley, a unique geographical gem, spans approximately 120 square miles in northeastern Siskiyou County, California. It's a high desert plateau, nestled between the majestic Mt. Shasta to the south and Oregon’s vast Klamath Basin to the north, at an elevation of 4,250 feet. Large commercial strawberry plant production is prevalent in the area, providing both annual and seasonal work. A lumber & moulding mill offers other employment opportunities.
