What sports teams does Mississippi have? Mostly, Universities Sport Teams: Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Jackson State University, Alcorn State University. Neighboring state sports teams such as the NFL/ New Orleans Saints.

What is Mississippi best known for? Catfish, Magnolia Trees, Southern Foods,
 and hospitality. 

What is the biggest misconception about Mississippi? That we live in a backward, uneducated, racist environment. The way Mississippi is often portrayed in the movies could not be further from the truth. We have accomplished a lot over the years and produced great talent from all diverse backgrounds. We have so much to be proud of the first heart transplant been performed at the University of MS Medical Center. We rank 4th from the top per capita with the most football players in the NFL. Mississippi has produced several good ones, such as Bret Favre, Ray Guy, Archie and Eli Manning, Walter Payton, Steve McNair and Dac Prescott.

What are the biggest industries in Mississippi? Agriculture, Fishing, And Forestry

How is the weather/climate in Mississippi? Fair, mostly warm.
