The West Tennessee grand division is a part of the Gulf Coastal Plain. Surrounded by the Tennessee and Mississippi Rivers, West Tennessee offers you a jaunt into soulful music, historical drama and natural wonders. West Tennessee exposes nightlife experiences on Beale Street and music history highlights in Graceland, Sun Studio and Stax Museum of American Soul. Natural wonders include the Tennessee River, the Mississippi River, Reelfoot Lake, Kentucky Lake and the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm. Civil War grounds and the National Civil Rights Museum offer a glimpse into Tennessee's history. West Tennessee presents a collection of Tennessee's individuality.

Memphis was named one of the top three domestic destinations in  MONEY'S Best in Travel  this year. Memphis has a ton of amazing attractions, restaurants, and hot spots, but here are just a few reasons why it made the list.  Like the Best Barbecue, the fantastic Music Scene and touring of Elvis Presley's Graceland to name a few.

The Department of Health is committed to assuring all Tennesseans have access to quality, affordable health care. The Department of Health participates in the state and federal programs to facilitate placement of foreign physicians as primary care physicians and physician specialist.
