This area is truly a cultural melting pot, with Fiesta Latina celebrated in Eugene, Da Vinci Days in Corvallis, the Scandinavian Festival in Junction City, and Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel to name but a few. Experience an extensive assortment of performing arts at stages and concert halls in Eugene, Salem and Corvallis. Biking is year-round on Willamette Valley back roads.
Environment: Temperatures are moderate and seldom dip below 30 degrees in the winter or above 85 in the summer. Most of the annual rainfall comes in the winter and spring, but is rarely heavy. Farmer’s Markets and produce stands are plentiful May through October providing local and organic food options. Many farms offer u-pick options.
