New Jersey J-1 Visas/H1-B Applications:

There is no timeline for submission of J-1 Visa Waiver and H1-B applications. These applications are accepted year round. The opportunities for physicians are very limited and we do not provide direct recruitment services for candidates. Specialties are considered for placement in the State Designated Children Hospitals and New Jersey Trauma Hospitals for J-1 and H1-B applicants. New Jersey does participate in the State Conrad 30 program which has several slots available.

This office primary focus is licensed ambulatory care positions for federal qualified health centers. This Department policy is completely discretionary, voluntary and may be modified or terminated at any time. The submission of a complete waiver package to the Department does not ensure that the Department will recommend a waiver.
