Southern Indiana is a destination brimming with outdoor recreation, water sports, challenging golf, dozens of parks and lots of family entertainment. The cities of Evansville and Bloomington (home of Indiana University) offer a wide array of shops, restaurants, and entertainment. This area also boasts attractions such as local wineries, West Baden Springs Hotel & the French Lick Casino, Patoka Lake and Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari amusement and water park.

Numerous hospitals, clinics, and health centers are located throughout the southern portion of the state. Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford, St. Mary’s Health Care Services, Daviess Community Hospital, Meadows Hospital, and Bedford Regional Medical Center are just a few!

Indianapolis International Airport is the major airport in the state, with flights to many cities around the country. Fort Wayne, Evansville, and South Bend offer flights to nearby hub cities. Air service is also available from nearby airports in Chicago, Cincinnati, and Louisville.

Indiana participates in the Conrad 30 program with a focus on primary health care. Applications accepted from October 1st - October 31st  or until all 30 slots are filled each year. Please email or call for more information.
