Description
The Clinical Education and Scheduling Coordinator is a key member of the administrative team, providing high-level executive support to the executive officers of the health center. This role is responsible for managing the coordination and scheduling of medical residents and pre-professional students, clinical students, and job shadows, while also maintaining executive calendars, preparing documentation, and supporting internal communications and projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Graduation from a Business or Technical School. Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years in an executive assistant or healthcare administration role. Experience with residency/student coordination or academic health programs strongly preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and electronic calendar systems.
Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently and ability to adjust to changes in clinical site availability, staff schedules, or student needs.
Familiarity with FQHC operations and healthcare compliance standards is a plus.
The ability to communicate effectively in person and on the telephone with other staff, the public, the patients and the medical providers of the community health center
