Community Information:

The City of Caro is in the heart of Tuscola County in Michigan’s thumb peninsula. The community of more than 4,000 residents is home to many historic buildings located in the downtown commercial center and hosts several signature events such as the Pumpkin Festival, Farmers Market, Gingerbread Fest, and Cars & Crafts. Local commerce includes the first and only Ethanol plant in Michigan, as well one of three Michigan Pioneer Sugar Company factories. Caro is located 30 minutes from Bay City, 45 minutes from Flint, and less than two hours from Detroit. The community is the perfect location for small town living with open land and quality schools.  Lake Huron surrounds the area, which provides waterside activities and many fine fishing spots.
